Design Notes

Jacob Theo is dressed using the deadwood theme by Graph Paper Press. It uses XHTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL and is powered by the latest stable version of WordPress, a state-of-the-art personal publishing platform.

The site was designed using a 13-inch MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo running Mac OS X 10.5.1, and two 16-ounce soy mochas.

Identity

The icon was inspired by the film Across the Universe and was designed in Adobe Illustrator. The typeface is Fontin Sans by Jos Bulvenga of Exljbris.

Jacob Theo is proudly hosted on a Grid-Service (gs) plan by (mt) Media Temple. I have been a customer since November 2007 and have had zero complaints so far. $20 a month or $200.04 a year minus zero complaints, divided by 1,000 GPUs per cycle equals great grid-service.
