Legend has it that shamans of the Klamath Native Americans here literally sacrificed themselves to the god Llao and jumped to their deaths in the erupting chaos, an eruption 42 times greater than Mount St. Helens.

Wow, just stunning! I have a difficult time shooting landscapes, so I’m always impressed by a good one. The silhouettes, the colors, the reflections… very nice.
